India has maintained commercial ties with the United States for many years now. Be it essentials or commercial goods, the two nations have formed several treaties together. Recently, India and the United States have signed a pact to explore traditional medicines like Ayurveda to treat cancer. The two countries have signed a Letter of Intent(LoI) during the bilateral 2+2 Summit.
According to this letter, there would be a regular exchange of data, scientists and materials required for the research to find complementary as well as alternative medicines for cancer. This letter was signed by the authorities on 27 October 2020.
