Dist health officials file complaint over lack of registration, licence; doc refutes all accusations
In an alarming instance of tumult in the medical fraternity amid the ongoing health crisis, district health officials have halted the purportedly grand opening of Saidham Hospital
at Shikrapur, just a day before its inauguration, as the facility was allegedly starting without requisite permissions and licences in place.
Shockingly, a doctor of the hospital, who officials claim owns it, has been also booked by Shikrapur police station (PS) officials, stating that he was practising sans licence. But, the doctor has refuted this allegation, stating that he practices alternative medicine and requires no registration with any medical council. He also denied owning the facility.
