Hira Mani paved her way into the drama industry, one show at a time. She has been lauded over the years for her acting prowess and careful choice of roles.
Recently the actor came into the limelight for her role as a spiritual guide in Kashf, which she feels is her toughest feat to date.
In a recent interview with BBC Asian Network, Hira shared how Kashf wasn’t a role any actor could essay. “Not everyone could have done justice to a role like Kashf. The character is not just an achievement for me as an actor but it also helped me connect with Allah. I have prayed in this show and found peace while crying in front of God,” she said.
Hira’s role as Kashf has been somewhat of a spiritual calling. This, she says, will stay with her. “In my previous roles such as Do Bol, Dil Mom Ka Diya or Meray Paas Tum Ho – on the new set, I would change my wardrobe, and that was it.
