Many of us are finding our screen time rocketing over lockdown, and although we may be passing time endlessly scrolling, this can have a serious detrimental effect on our sleep cycle.
Luckily, one Cork woman has found a solution after years of broken and sleepless nights.
Mum of two Katie Buckley told RSVP Live having sleepless nights became her norm over the past ten years or so.
“Like everybody else I slept when I was younger, but definitely since I hit my 30’s I never had a full night sleep, I would wake four or five times a night, I tried everything from hot milk and breathing exercises, to lavender baths and sprays on my pillow. It got to the point where I hate the smell of lavender because it reminds me of failed versions of trying to get to sleep.
