Linda and I wrapped our West Virginia winter getaway last month with a weekend stop at White Sulphur Springs, Pa., for a soul-soaking, life-giving time with our praying friends from Tun Tavern Fellowship (tuntavernfellowship.org).
This fine group of Marines and their families formed in 2006 under the leadership of retired Lt. Col. Chris Braddy to “build and maintain relationships that support and encourage followers of Jesus Christ in and around The Marine Corps.”
Parents, grandparents and pastors will be pleased to know that our Armed Forces are enriched with many such spiritual opportunities throughout the branches (in addition to the “official” ones facilitated by LZ LAKEHAWK’s own Navy Chaplain Bob Haines and battalions of his fellow uniformed preachers over the years).
