A new healing and meditation centre hopes to provide a wellbeing service for people as the country eases out of lockdown.
Anya Rae of Maybole is bringing Ayrshire Healing Centre to the town as she says coming out of the pandemic “is going to be quite the transition” with an expected “mental health explosion”.
Last year, Ayrshire Live reported that Anya aspired to open a multi-disciplined healing centre and now her dreams have come to fruition after buying an old veterinary practice building on Maybole’s Barns Road.
Anya received funding from Ayrshire College to launch her business which will include a meditation studio, space for yoga, aromatherapy, massage and sound healing amongst others.

She also hopes to secure lottery funding to provide free workshops for families, children and teenagers struggling with anxiety and stress.
