HOLLAND — Amidst the sea of tulip fields at Window on the Waterfront, a group of about 50 yoga enthusiasts gathered for a morning of meditation and exercise.
Tulip Time’s popular Yoga in the Tulips returned on Sunday, May 2, providing an outlet of exercise, stress relief, and relaxation sorely needed in the 14 months since the pandemic swept around the world.
The sessions provide not just an opportunity to improve physical well-being, but mental, and do it in a natural setting.
“Yoga is really designed to challenge the body, relax the body, and prepares the body for rest,” said Sunday’s instructor Saydi Miller.
Back to Health Chiropractic sponsored the event with Miller leading the group through a 60-minute yoga session.
